The ComPass A device is a combined short-circuit and earth fault indicator for medium voltage distribution networks. The device indicates the measuring results and parameter settings on a menucontrolled display and reports and parameterises these data remotely using the MODBUS protocol. When the previously set trip values are exceeded, the red LED will start flashing. The rocker switch is used to indicate short-circuits or earth faults in plain text format on the display.
